I see the issue as creator responsibility to provide valid facts, and audience responsibility to understand who is the source, and what their "angle" may be. With the proliferation of media creation tools, we can expect students to be source as much as consumers of media/information. And if students provide media, inaccuracy affects more people than if the student is a consumer.
